Texas Tide rolled onto the Texas music scene in the summer of 2000. San
Antonio's own Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band, Texas Tide stays very busy playing
tropical sounds and rock n roll throughout the state. The Trop Rock Band is made up of a
college professor, a government worker, a real estate broker, and a UTSA graduate (keeps the band young!). The group still pays tribute to the popular tropical
and island music of Margarita fame but definitely finds time for waves of classic old time rock and roll from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Throw in a splash of Jerry Jeff and Willie and you have the perfect party band!!!
The group works hard to uphold its reputation as a party band by playing
audience requests and working in new "oldies" for our loyal rockers.
Dressed in Island shirts, carrying a few Boat Drinks, and anchoring the stage
with lots of yellow Rubber Ducks, The Tide comes to party -
guaranteeing a positive "Change in Latitude and an Texas Attitude". It's Five O'clock Somewhere and "The Tide" can be found playing their Margarita
