TEXAS TIDE - Just a little beach band from South Texas TexasTideSchedule.htm
Band at the Blue Cactus Cafe

The Perfect party band. We do birthdays, promotions, weddings, and Margaritaville parties. About Us — San Antonio's Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band Texas Tide rolled onto the Texas music scene in the summer of 2000.  San Antonio's own Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band, Texas Tide stays very busy playing tropical sounds throughout the state.  The band is made up of two college professors, a middle school teacher, a real estate broker, two  UTSA graduates (keeps the band young!).  The group still pays tribute to the popular tropical music of Margarita fame but definitely finds time for waves of classic old time rock and roll from the 50's, 60's, and 70's.  Throw in a splash of Jerry Jeff and Willie and you have the perfect party band!!! The group works hard to uphold its reputation as a party band by playing audience requests and working in new  "oldies" for our loyal rockers. Dressed in Hawaiian shirts, carrying a few Boat Drinks, and anchoring the stage with lots of  yellow Rubber Ducks,  The Tide comes to party - guaranteeing a positive "Change in Latitude and an Aloha Attitude". It's Five O'clock Somewhere and "The Tide"  can be found playing their Margarita sounds on a barstool near you!   Surf onto our "SCHEDULE" for upcoming dates and locations for this summer's "Texas Backyard Bar-B-Que Tour." Texas Tide is:

Gary  "Dr. Beach"  Biel on lead vocals and guitar (second from right)

Bob  "The Captain" Boyd on vocals and harmonica (left)

Pete  "Bongo Man"  Shaw on vocals and percussion ( not shown & coming back June 2009)

Matt   "Mr. Bass Man"  Toon on vocals and bass (center)

Chad  " The Pan Man"  Van Delden on steel drums (right)

Gabe "The Coconut" Castaneda on drums and percussion (second from left)
